Mercury Mail Transport System
Mercury Mail Transport System (MMTS) is a full-features server solution that works with Pegasus Mail client. MMTS is not required to use Pegasus Mail, the DOS edition of the mail program requires the server to run, provided that MS-DOS did not support Internet technologies for mail transport.

A – Maybe you are running a copy of Pegasus Mail that has been installed in the same directory as your home mailbox. Either you move your home mailbox to a different location or uninstall Pegasus Mail and reinstall it in another location.
A – Go through the steps to move Pegasus mailboxes from one machine to another –
- Install Pegasus Mail client on the new machine. Create a new mailbox folder.
- Run Pegasus Mail client. Select Help and then go to About Pegasus Mail. Click on Info. button and find “Home Mailbox location” in the entry list.
- Now, Run Pegasus Mail on old machine and follow the above step 2.
- Copy all files from the directory found in step 3 into the directory found in step 2.
In this way, when you open Pegasus Mail on new machine, you will find the same mail files and settings as you used in the old machine.
